June 23, 2020, Our project on Interfaces in Energy Devices received the John R. Evans Leaders Fund sponsored by the Canada Foundation and Innovation. (LINK) This fund will support the Laboratory for Advanced Characterization of, Interfaces in Energy Devices (LACIE), a new, comprehensive facility with the capacity to fully characterize the fundamental physico-chemical nature of interfaces in energy storage and conversion devices!

Sep 17, 2018 Our paper “High Energy Density CNT/NaI Composite Cathodes for Sodium-Ion Batteries” was accepted to Adv. Mater. Interfaces! The capacity retention of a new conversation cathode NaI for Na-ion battery is enabled by a free-standing CNT substrate, which functions to suppress the shuttling effect. LINK
